What is Paymentus?
Paymentus is our new online billing vendor partner, that integrates with the Rico Telephone billing system. This will replace our old online billing system, which was operated by PayDQ for Direct Communications/Rico Telephone .
Why is Rico Telephone making this change?
We are upgrading our system in response to customer feedback. You asked for more convenient payment options, and we wanted to offer our customers in Rico expanded online payment options. This new Paymentus system is enhanced with a lot more features that are easier to access and use than the old PayDQ system.
How can I pay my bill besides using the online portal?

Do I need to register again to use the new online payments system?
No. Your existing online payment credentials will roll over from our old system. Log in with your old/ existing username and password. The only difference will be that your username should be entered in all lowercase letters.
If I already had an existing Rico Telephone online payment account, do I need to change anything?
No new action is required for most customers. Once the new billing system is in place, we will update the links on our homepage navigation menu to take you to the new Paymentus online payment interface. You will be able to log into the new Paymentus system with your existing username and password. The only difference will be that your username should be entered in all lowercase letters.
If you are currently paying with American Express, you will need to switch to one of our many other new payment options, like ACH from your checking, either now or after the new billing system is live. Call us at 801 789 2800 with any questions or concerns about this.
Can I log into the new online payments system with my old credentials?
Yes, you will be able to log into the new Paymentus online payments system with your existing username and password that you used in the PayDQ system. The only difference will be that your username should be entered in all lowercase letters.
How do I register to pay my bill online if I did not have an online payments account with Rico Telephone previously?

I am currently set up on Autopay. Do I need to change anything?
Current AutoPay customers’ details and settings will automatically be rolled over to the new system if you set up your old autopay through the old PayDQ system.
What forms of payment will be available on the new billing system?
Online payments can now be made using Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay digital wallets. You can also pay online using ACH (checking or savings). (Note: American Express will no longer be available on this new system.)
How do I pay at Walmart?
You can now pay your Direct Communications bill at Walmart. Visit the customer service desk or Money Center and ask to pay using WMBP. Payments can be made using cash, debit cards or UcardsTM.
Can I pay over the phone?
Yes, with the new pay system you can access 24-Hour Phone Payments – pay at any time using our interactive voice response (IVR) phone system. Payments can be made by dialing: 866-470-5618
